Policy and Planning services
Our Policy and Planning Services (PPS) is responsible
for the formulation of social reform and poverty alleviation
policies covering the social, economic, ecological and governance
dimensions of poverty. These entail development of policy proposals,
conduct of research on policy issues relating to the social reform
and poverty alleviation, drafting of legislations, regulations and
other legal instruments pertaining to the social reform and poverty
alleviation, and generating and managing statistical information.
Against this backdrop of shifting planning policy guidance and
increasingly challenging timescales, Deckel Management has taken
a leading role in helping local planning authorities to deliver
their local plans. We understand that local plans are crucial to
promoting growth and ensuring sustainable development, and use
these key principles to deliver viable policy frameworks.
Deckel Management recognises that planning can have a positive influence over various
challenges including climate change, urbanisation, environmental
protection, and social and economic sustainability. We also work with
private sector clients to help them understand how changes to the
planning system may affect them. We make representations on emerging
local plans to ensure that site allocations or specific policies reflect
their commercial interests.
